Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2: Release and Updates

After studio MAPPA leaves us with a cliffhanger on the last episode of Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season Part 1, the anime ‘only’ watchers have had an obnoxious time ever since.

Look out for more details on Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 and the possibility of the unrevealing Season 5.

Will there be Attack on Titan Season 5?

Attack on Titan Season 5 will not happen unless the producer releases the second part of season 4. But most likely it doesn’t seem possible since there isn’t enough source for Season 5 as the manga ends with Chapter 139.

In addition to this, Season 5 seems unlikely, although fans would love to see a Season 5, Season 4 is already announced to be the final season, basically making the discussion of the possibility of a Season 5 happening to be moot and pointless.

When are we getting Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2?

Attack on Titan is an anime adaptation of the best-selling manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Hajime Iyasama. The first season has aired in April 2013 and its final season in December 2020. The fans of Attack on Titan are beyond thrilled to watch the upcoming second part of season 4.

There hasn’t been an announcement for the actual release date of Season 4 Part 2 of Attack on Titan but it has been declared that it will premiere in the “Winter 2022” anime season.

As of now, Season 4 part 1 ends with Chapter 117 of the original manga series leaving 22 chapters behind to be adopted before the end.

Grasping to this we can bend over the fact that we will be getting our long-awaited second part of the season after a cliffhanger in the first part.

The MAPPA studio has taken over the anime adaptation since Season 4 and is serving us better quality than ever.

What is the storyline of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2?

(SPOILER WARNING)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek4AxdGY7qM

As far as the manga goes, the second part of the season has hinted at the deceptive side of Eren who commenced on ravaging purge. There’s nothing that unites humanity other than fighting a villain who tries to conquer the entire world.

After unlocking the true powers of the Attack Titan(its inheritors receive memories from the past and sees events that their future self will experience ) Eren decides to move forward with Zeke’s plan for conquering the world which can only be done by possessing the powers of Ymir, the Founding Titan.

Eren lives the life of a living hell when he finds out that he cannot change the future even after raiding Marley. Eren laughs out of trauma in part 1 of season 4 after Sasha’s death because the memories he sees of the future comes out as truth. That’s why he laughs when he asks Connie what her last word is. He knows that it is “meat”.

Eren turns his back against his friends and the Survey Corps. He recruits an army of his own, calling themselves the “Yeagerists”.

The Yeagerists swear to follow Eren, thinking he can be the Savior of Paradis.

To carry on their “secret plan”, Eren’s horrendous spree becomes the turning point of his friends to decide whose side he was on and to the extent whether he was to be eliminated.

In the final chapter of the manga, Isayama explains why the valorous protagonist becomes the main antagonist in the series.

Eren finally has the chance to explain his villainous deed to Armin. He intentionally plays the role of the villain to amalgamate the Eldians and Marley by initiating the Titan War. After manifesting all the power of the Titans he dies with it ending the Titan war.

We can’t exactly say that Eren is a total brute as his initiatives are to save everyone else by sacrificing himself.
