Hibike! Euphonium Season 3: When is the release date?
Kyoto Animations, the producers of Hibike! Euphonium anime has announced that Hibike! Euphonium season 3 is set to release in 2024. The producers have also announced an OVA film that is expected to release in 2023. The Ensemble Concert Arc from the original series will be the focus of a new medium-length anime special that will be released in 2023, bringing the anime back.

What is Hibike! Euphonium anime about?
The musical anime is set in a High School situated in Uji, Kyoto. The story focuses on the Music club of the high school. The lead protagonist is Kumiko Oumae, who is doing everything in her will to avoid going back to her old habits by running away from music. She had previously participated in ensemble contests on the euphonium, a brass instrument regarded as the premier one in the tenor-bass range in military bands.
She chooses to concentrate on her life outside of music after a tough performance and argument with a bandmate during her last ensemble competition. Hibike! Euphonium is a beautiful tale that examines a variety of aspects of ensemble band life, as well as the importance of mending relationships and working toward challenging objectives as a team.
What happens in Hibike! Euphonium Season 1 and 2? *SPOILERS*
In season 1, Kumiko is running away from one thing she is very passionate about – music. She is concentrating on other aspects of life and making new friends, while also avoiding her former friends and bandmates. Fortunately for us, both her friends convince her to join the Kitauji High School Music Club.
The music club has one goal, and that is to make it to the national level competition. However, things are not that easy for the musically talented Kumiko, as her former bandmate Reina wants a position in the band. Kumiko now has to lead a band with very little to no experienced band members while also fixing the relationship with her former bandmate.
In season 2, the band makes it to the regional level and spends time in a summer camp with each other and their strict instructor. Everything is going according to the plan until it is not. Yet another former bandmate wants an in in the high school band. Natsuki’s addition to the band does not appeal to the second-year girls. However, Kumiko and her friends are determined to prioritize their goal which is making it to the national level.
