There is enough source material in light novels that can produce Kenja No Mago Season 2 in 2020. This means source material is not a problem for Wise Man’s Grandchild sequel.

The sales aren’t high, and even the manga isn’t a big hit. If the mobile game does well, it could improve the chances of Kenja No Mago Season 2, but on the other hand they ranked around 5000, which isn’t satisfactory.

There is a new mobile game for the series. New volumes of manga and light novels every few months, and social media is still active, which is a positive sign. Next year, I think it will be easier to tell how many fans there are and if the game and merch are doing well enough for the series to go on.
