The Plot of Demon Slayer Anime
The protagonist of Demon Slayer Anime is Tanjirou Kamado (Voiced by Natsuki Hanae). Tanjirou was the only male in his family, and after his father’s death, he had to support his family at a very young age by selling charcoal. Even though he struggled daily, his family members’ smiles would keep him happy and content. But one day, the demons slaughter his family except for his sister Nezuko (voiced by Akari Kito).

The main twist here is that even though Nezuko turns into a demon, she still retains the ability to feel the emotions and think like a human. To avenge his family and turn back Nezuko into a human, Tanjiro becomes a Demon Slayer. The story then goes on to portray his journey to achieve his goals.

Storyline
Demon Slayer Anime’s setting is based on Japan’s historical time period taking place in a native country. I don’t prefer many old native settings, but I think the work’s presentation was so up to the point that even I felt really attached to it.
But those who are acquainted with the history of Japan they’ll surely fall in love with this. The overall premise is very much realistic. The way it superbly takes control of its historical setting and gives it a hard, supernatural twist to make things interesting is worthy of mention here.

Many viewers don’t really like the low pace of anime and end up getting burned. Still, Demon Slayer Anime and Vinland Saga prove it wrong as they keep the pace slow and maintain the story’s development and foundation as it continues.
Demon Slayer Anime, even though it may seem to be a slow burn, but once it sets off sprinting, there’s no going back. The major arcs weren’t even dragged on for too long, which didn’t feel boring, and the few events and comedic episodes kept us entertained and engaged.
Characters
I’m sure everyone wants a well-balanced cast of charismatic characters to feel engaged and entertained. Without a good cast, the whole anime turns dull, Like a withered plant. Characters of Demon Slayer Anime play a crucial role in the story and plot as well. I’m grateful to the directors and the whole committee for giving us so many unforgettable characters. Each having their unique personality and charm around them.
Many overlook the strong point about the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series is how the characters’ relationship development occurs. This results in better world-building of the series. The best example of this is the relationship built between Tanjiro Kamado and his sister, Nezuko.

They are dynamic, and Nezuko has her own Kawaii (cute) moment. Another unique relationship in the anime is the one between Tanjiro and his master, Urokodaki. While Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has had 26 episodes to spend on developing its characters, they not only focused on character development but also established the groundwork for future character development.
It’s obvious, with Tanjiro being the main protagonist, audiences expect to learn more about him and continue to see him grow as a person and move a little closer to his goals. But in contrast, we also see that characters like Inosuke and Zenitsu have shown great potential for development and growth.
The Art And Animation
I actually read few chapters of the manga and then watched the Demon Slayer Anime. Oh my God! The difference between them in terms of quality and engagement is totally different. I’m not saying the manga is bad, but to be honest, the animation steals the show with its oh so smooth icing on a cake.
The manga is illustrated really well, and the animation is just splendid. From background to the little miscellaneous details, almost everything has been given attention; this is also the very reason why it’s extremely eye-catching. The fight scenes are just like toppings in the pizza, without which it won’t be tasty. The action scenes and powerful cast will remind you of Seven Deadly Sins Anime for sure.
Not only the animation but also the choreography of the fight scenes take our breath away. They’ve put all their efforts into this anime and make it flawless. The characters aren’t just fighting but are also involved with one another and the environment as well.

The sword moments’ planning looks so smooth when they get dramatized by wreathed in water or fire or any other element. For example, you can watch the absolutely flawless fight choreography of the famous fight of Tanjiro and Nezuko against Rui.
There’s no doubt that the team has done a fantastic job to make each of the characters stand out. They left no stone unturned to keep it smooth and enjoyable for the viewers. The animation is very vivid, which tends to attract the attention of the viewers more.
I think especially The main cast–from Tanjiro and Nezuko to Inosuke and Zenitsu–are all designed to make a long lasting impression on the viewer. This is especially so with the Hashiras. Each of their designs is memorable and colorful.
Final Words
Most people will complain about this anime after watching only the first 7 or 8 episodes. But they should at least give a review after watching the whole season because when I watched Demon Slayer Anime, I instantly got instant Attack on Titans vibes from it/ This anime also has brutal scenes, and there’s no safe zone too. If you liked Demon Slayer Anime, then try watching Bungou Stray Dogs Anime as well.
This what made me more involved with the anime. AOT fans are sure to love this anime, without a doubt. Overall the story is packed with interesting plot and action scenes that would give you a good rush of adrenaline. So obviously, I’ll highly recommend this anime to anyone who comes across this review.
I’ll rate it 4.5 stars.
