Synopsis
Before indulging in the meat and potatoes, let’s gather the spices. Vinland Saga is set in the 11th century and about a person Thorfinn; it tastes medieval warzone and profound philosophical aspects.
The story first tells about young Thorfinn, who admires his father, Thors, the strongest Viking. Later in the story, his father was assassinated, and then Thorfinn’s mission is to avenge his father. The surprising thing is that Thorfinn was taken in by Askeladd, who was his father’s killer. Later, we see Prince Canute, who wants to make this place better, and asks Askeladd and Thorfinn’s help. Now, what happens next?

On Twitter, they’ve already announced that the team is working on a “special project,” which, let’s assume, is a Vinland Saga Movie or Vinland Saga Season 2. The merchandise is a perfect way of making extra money for the anime, going through the store/good sales. I can say there are many items, but almost all of them are of Thorfinn, but I can predict that there will be more interesting characters and elements since season 1 only revolves around Thorfinn.
With the above information, I can say that the sales are pretty amazing in terms of manga. The goods are not yet popular because merch is limited, just like accel word or elite classroom. But I hope there will be better merch. No doubt the sales surely give a green light for Vinland Saga Season 2.
