What is Kimetsu No Yaiba?
Kimetsu no Yaiba, also known as Demon Slayer, is an anime aired in 2019, set in Japan’s Taisho’sisho era, which was early 19th century Japan.
The story tells us about a young guy named Tanjirou Kamado, who is a kind-hearted person and lives peacefully with his family and works as a coal seller.
They were living a happy life till the night when everything changes.
Returning from work in the morning, he saw his whole family was slaughtered, and his younger sister Nezuko has been turned into a demon.
Losing her senses, Nezuko started attacking Tanjirou. Then a mysterious swordsman comes to save Tanjirou by killing the sister.
Still, after a duel with the siblings, he noticed that they aren’t ordinary and decided to let Nezuko live as Tanjirou was determined to turn her back into a human.
To avenge his family and turn Nezuko back to a human, he decided to become a Demon Slayer.

What Makes Kimetsu No Yaiba so Popular?
We have been gone through demons and demon slayers many times in the past. Not the exact plot, but we have seen the similarities you old shounen anime like in Bleach, Seven Deadly Sins, Bungou Stray Dogs, One-piece, Tower of God.
The thing that makes the demon slayer unique is that there is no plot armor to justify the storylines that some people like and some don’t.
Unlike old shounen, where the mc gets the power here, Tanjirou is just an average guy with a rigid body.
There is a reason for it, he lost his father, and since he was a kid, he has been a coal seller, carrying coal on his back from mountain top to the village almost every day.
Here he has a reason to fight, an excuse not to go back to the life he used to live, a reason to keep going, and that reason is strong, and that is to turn his only sister around to human, she is the only person alive from his family.
Kimetsu no Yaiba has strong reasoning behind every character and everything that happens. The villain wants to rule the world, but he isn’t perfect as a demon. He can’t survive in daylight for too long.
Even Zenitsu and Inosuke have their own reason. Kimetsu no Yaiba has a genuine plot, and every character is involved in some way or other.
That was the story part, as you might know; the Tanjirou and Nezuko vs. Lower Moon fight was the one that broke the internet.
I understand that the animation was top tier as expected from ufotable, who is impressive when it comes to fighting scenes; whether it’s Fate or any other series, they give their best.
The emotions, the flashback, and the spirit of fighting were so perfect that it broke the internet, and even after that, the upper moon didn’t lose. That’s another reason why it’s famous.
In Kimetsu no Yaiba, important characters actually die, and that what makes it real. It’s a war between demons and demon slayers, and both sides have causalities. It’s not a happy journey. It’s a painful one.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date
All the sources and news give me only one conclusion, and that is Demon Slayer Season 2 will be released in 2021.
Now the question is, when Demon Slayer Season 2 will air? I think it may release between June-October months because only fate will be released in June.

There’s no scheduled or press release of any other anime to air in June, which means June August seems vacant, which can be filled in by Demon Slayer Season 2.
What to Expect from season 2?
Since the production team is again ufotable, you won’t be disappointed with the Demon Slayer Season 2, the animation, and awesome fight scenes.
If you’ve been up with the series so far after Muzan massacred the lower moons and send Lower Moon 1 to kill the Tanjirou gang, which led to the movie Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train.
Even though they managed to kill the Lower Moon, they lost Fire Pillar when an Upper Moon showed up.
Season 2 covers Sound Pillar’s fight (Tengen Uzui) and our Tanjirou gang with Upper Moon Six. Despite being lowest in rank, every Upper moon holds immense power, even performing the strongest Pillars.
And this time, the position is shared by two demons Gyuutarou and Daki, who are two siblings.
They had a problem handling a Lower Moon, now its Upper moon and two of them, and they have a secret weapon that will make Sound Pillar quit from the battlefield, so there is much to see and much to enjoy.
