Slice Of Life Anime is a genre for those who have gotten tired of watching too much isekai. I mean, who doesn’t likes a story based on high school or a middle-aged man struggling in his daily life? Although not many can bear the simplicity, some find beauty in the simplicities.
We have seen people dying and going to different worlds, we have seen people getting magical powers, we have people fighting titans and demons, we have even seen the life of cells in our body, and I’m tired, and you must be too right?
For a while, let’s be realistic. I want to see people living everyday life with minor ups and downs, maybe love interest, and hopefully something else to spice things up but not too much.
Well, don’t worry, today I’m going to pick up some of the best Slice Of Life Anime for you to watch while I re-watch along with you.
Well, a slice of life, as the name seems, is about daily life, kids going to high school, and actually doing things that high school kids do on Earth.
The Slice Of Life Anime itself becomes pretty mundane. If it’s only about kids doing things kids do like, I will stalk my friend every day if I want to know that.
So what’s the difference between stalking my friend and watching an anime? It’s simple in anime, and there are other factors and genres which make things interesting.
While my focus is mainly slice of life, there might be little offsets in it, but it’s worth watching. So without any further ado, let’s get into it.

Where to Watch?
You can try watching Slice Of Life Anime recommendations here:-
All of us wanted to go back in time, do things differently, do something new, correct some mistakes, and maybe tried talking to our crush.
Re:Life is an anime which exactly does this for you.
Our protagonist is 27 years old with no job, no money and no girl.
One day he meets a high schooler who allows him to redo his life with medicine, which will make him look 10 years younger.
The best part about ReLife is that even though our protagonist being a simple guy, he has the power to change things around him. On the path of fulfilling his own goals, he helps people around him.
4. Beyond The Boundary
Beyond the Boundary, a cute female protagonist started with a series and ended up with a heartbreaking movie.
Mirai is a girl who wants to get recognition by hunting demons, and her first prey was Akihito, who is half-human and half-demon.
While Mirai is the last descendant of her clan, and because Akihito is half-human, his fast regeneration doesn’t let him die.
Soon their fate gets interwined.
3. The Disastrous Life of Saiki K
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K is my top comedy anime of all time. It’s each episode is crazy and will leave you in tears (because of laughter). (highly recommended Slice Of Life Anime)
This anime is about a guy Saiki who has all the psychic abilities you can think of, from telepathy to x-ray.
I am sure I will be blessed if I have even one power of his, but for Saiki, it’s a curse. Why? Watch the anime.
While it has supernatural powers, this anime tells us the everyday struggle of our protagonist’s crazy parents, dumb friend, girl-chasing him, and much more.
I’ve talked about Hyouka before, but I’ll focus on the Slice Of Life Anime part this time.
It shows the life of Oreki, who wants a normal high school life, no love interest, no fame, nothing.
He even joined the Classic Literature Club, which on the verge of extinction, so that he could be alone.
All his dreams shattered when he met a girl named Chitanda, this curious and demanding beauty kept on poking Oreki for answers.
It’s beautiful to see how the colorless world of Oreki was slowly dying in colors. The person who avoided activities started to participate in things, and the person who didn’t want love in life was slowly developing feelings.
1. Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai
Don’t be scared of that long name. It’s a pretty amazing anime. How many of you have a crush on your senior?
This Slice Of Life Anime is about Sakura, who sees his senior and an actress Mai roaming around in the mall while wearing a bunny outfit.
From there it become an interesting love story.
Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai shows the various psychological and social anxiety that high schoolers face in the syndrome.
What I like about this anime, aside from the harem, the counters of our protagonist, and his bravery. He wasn’t ashamed to scream in front of the whole school to help Mai, which can’t be overlooked.
That’s all for today, folks. The next five Slice Of Life Animes will be here soon, so stay tuned.
If you have any one of the above, I’m sure you’ll love the others too, and if you’ve watched all, then re-watch them like me until I bring another of my top five slices of life anime which are masterpieces.

FAQs on Slice Of Life Anime
Is Saiki kusuo asexual?
Well, my folks, this was a challenging question for me. But after researching a lot, I concluded that there are 25% chances that he is asexual because he seems to have no interest in sexual activities whatsoever. But as he is still in his teens, I can’t say he’s completely asexual, as many teens develop these feelings late.
Is there romance in Kyoukai no Kanata?
Kyoukai No Kanata was one of my most loved romantic anime when I was in my teens. They sometimes act like kids and sometimes like a married couple. Overall, the anime works well to put the pieces together and will surely make you cry by the time you finish it.
