5. InuxBoku SS
“It is a tasteless life if you don’t have something you regret.” – InuxBoku SS
InuxBoku takes one of the places in the Short Anime Love Series because of its execution and delivery.
Shirakiin is very protective about their daughter, so Shirakiin Ririchiyo has been kept in a complex. But she wants to become independent, so she moves out to live independently under one condition that she’ll have to live in the Ayakashi Kan mansion.
One needs to pass strict exams to get access to reside in it. Each resident has been allotted with one agent from the secret service. But Ririchyo refuses the company of S.S but later on finds out that they have already assigned a fox agent whom she has rescued before. Now, what’s going to happen next?
InuBoku is an enjoyable and cute Short Anime Love Series; many people didn’t like it because it ended abruptly. I believe that it′ll improve and be more exciting if there’s another season to it.
I agree that InuBoku is another cliche anime, but sometimes it’s all about enjoyment instead of predicting what will happen next. All in all, InuxBoku is an enjoyable anime, and it surely should be on your watchlist.
4. Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku
“Did you become the adult you wanted to be?” – Narumi Momose
Wotakai takes on the 4th position in the Short Anime Love Series list for its simplicity and enjoyment.
Narumi is an office lady who is a yaoi fangirl, which she can’t reveal. While changing jobs, she is reunited with Hirotaka, her childhood friend who is attractive and skilled but is a hardcore gaming otaku. They decide to start dating, but as both are otaku, they are pretty awkward when it comes to serious romantic relationships.
In my opinion, Love is hard for otaku’ is a simple, funny, and Kawaii (cute) Short Anime Love Series, which displays the struggles and benefits of relationships between two otakus, whether it’s just casual or something more.
The characters are unique when it comes to their personality and designs. Hirotaka is so cute that it makes my heart melt. In the series, The relationships between the mc’s are developed with time.
This is the perfect anime to watch if you have an otaku girlfriend! or if you want to lay back and watch something cute and funny. I am hoping you could give this a watch. I’m sure you’ll like it!
3. Snowhite with the Red Hair/ Akagami no Shirayukihime
“If you’re helping someone and expecting something in return, you’re doing business, not kindness.” – Shirayuki (1)
Snow White with the red hair takes 3rd place in the Short Anime Love Series list because of its unique and cute storyline.
A young lady whose name is shirayuki has unique red hair like that of an apple. Raji, a prince, falls in love with her at first sight and orders her to become his concubine. But she didn’t want her life to go like this, so she cuts her hair and escapes to another country.
While traveling, she meets a young boy named Zen. She cures Zen wounds and ends up getting poisoned by an apple. Raji sends out his men to search for her. What will happen? Will she die? Will she become one of his concubines?
Akagami no Shirayukihime is a refreshing fantasy story about an optimistic female lead protected by a prince. Akagami no Shirayuki is not one of your typical cliche romance anime because this series focuses on its calm and relaxed nature from the first episode. This type of romance sets them miles apart from any typical shoujo.
In this series, the romance is very pure and innocent. The characters can hold proper conversations without any cliche moments/ecchi fanservice. The interaction between the characters is very refreshing as a cold wind in summer.
The scenes and conversations are well-crafted and well planned and also display some cute romantic moments as well. Many episodes will make you go “aww” and leave your heart with a warm fuzzy feeling inside. So don’t forget to watch this with your special one!
2. Rascal does not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai
“I don’t mind if I only had one person. Even if the whole world hated me, I could keep living if that person needed me.” – Sakuta Azusagawa (2)
With its out of the box and high school-related theme, Bunny girl senpai takes the 2nd position in the Short Anime Love Series.
Sakuta Azugawa, a high school boy whose life turns upside down upon realizing that he can see a teenage actress named Mai Sakurajima in a Library while others can’t see.
He realizes that he’s suffering from an “Adolescence syndrome,” and now they both need to solve the mystery as to why it occurred and how to get rid of it. Will they get closer? Will there be a happy ever after?
Definitely, this is one of my top picks of this season. If you haven’t watched it yet, then what are you even waiting for? Do you want a slice of life anime? Check! Do you want some emotional, dramatic scenes that’ll make your heart rip apart? Check! You’ve got everything you need.
Don’t judge it by the animation or artwork; trust me, it’s exciting, and give this a watch this week!
1. Kaguya-sama: Love is War
If it’s true love, I’m prepared to even accept expulsion. –Kaguya Shinomiya (3)
*drum rolls* Finally, one of the best rom-com ever made a sensation in the whole world Kaguya Sama Love is war takes the 1st position.
This story came into existence after the author got inspired by the tale of the bamboo cutter. It’s similar to it. The only exception is that it’s set in modern times.
The plot starts with a battle of wits between the Student council’s President Miyuki Shirogane and Vice Prey Kaguya Shinomiya- they both try to make the other confess as they consider that the first one who reveals losses the war of love.
Most of the battles occur in the student council room and involve some other chaotic elements like the entry of Chika Fujiwara. The story keeps developing with time and makes us curious to know who will win at the end.
When it comes to rom-com, people should not always focus on romance, and this is what the theme of Kaguya Sama Love is war meant.
I love both the manga and the anime as they gave me a similar sensation and excitement about what’s about to happen next. Also, it’s true that not all the chapters were adapted, but that’s not the point at all. It managed to rise above the mediocrity of rom-coms by introducing a variety of story gimmicks.
The characters never fail to amaze me, and every single time, they deliver their lines like a theatric play filled with charisma and talent. . Unlike typical shoujo or rom-com anime, Kaguya-sama sets a gold standard for a romantic comedy that’s more than just confessing love.
That’s why it takes the No.1 position in the list of Short Anime Love Series!
Well, the list of Short Anime Love Series doesn’t end here. There are many other Short Anime Love Series that I might have missed.
